Bad news from south Texas, where the Democrats are about to cough up a state senate seat (in fact, the San Antonio Express-News has called the race). Repub Pete Flores has a 53/47 lead on Democrat Pete Gallego with 89% of precincts in, and little help likely from the precincts still outstanding.

Not a good sign for Beto O’Rourke or any Democratic Congresscritters counting in heavy Hispanic turnout to push them over the top.
