Not sure it matters what he said, if he can prove that he has not physically lived in NY for the requisite portion of the year, it is going to be real hard to prove tax evasion. For the past 3 years he really hasn’t spent much time in NY that I am aware of.

Presidents are still treated as having a home address that is different than the White House.
