I think tattooing is on the wane in some circles. My grandson doesn’t have any (although his parents do) and he’s 23; none of his friends have them, either, as far as I know, except for one girl he knows (friend, not gf). Most of those I see now are on people well past their teen years. I think some kids nowadays see the excesses of their parents as not something they want to pursue.
