I am watching the Panama Papers fallout. The wheels are still turning slowly.

Expect to hear a lot more of this kind of response:

Blouin, who was born in Montreal and was worth an estimated $425million a decade ago, set up the companies on the advice of her accountants.

She told The Toronto Star: ‘I assume everything is in good standing.

‘I’m not a lawyer and I’m not an accountant. So anything that was structured (in the) British Virgin Islands was done by Deloitte many, many years ago in the United Kingdom.’

Which could be true. I hope everything is aboveboard.
