It’s like McConnell tried to find the most insulting tactic available, to ensure the wobbliest Dems would vote to blow up the filibuster. We criticize Dems for “keeping their powder dry”, but if there was a time for McConnell to tactically retreat this was it. We’re not there yet, but either McConnell just can’t stop his mindless obstruction, or can’t stop the other goopers’.

Doesn’t Joe “Back Stabber” Manchin essentially count as the 51st GOP vote regarding ending the filibuster? I thought I had read that Sinema for AZ was another in the spineless column.
