It’s only a concern if you have issues with the car’s cooling system. I had a ‘91 Chevy with a plugged radiator. If you ran the A/C while you were driving less than about 20 mph, it would heat up real badly because of the extra load on the engine. If the cooling system’s okay, though, shouldn’t be anything wrong with it.
