Nickolaus said she forgot to click “save” in Microsoft Access to save the totals she had entered into the program. The problem? In no version of MS Access ever released do you have to click “save”. It saves data directly to the database as it is entered.

Maybe she has the “Microsoft Works” version or the “demo” version or some cracker version that was downloaded from a warez site.
