I bet you didn’t. Special Olympics are politically correct bullshit. Which is broadcasted because if it wouldn’t be, people would be upset. Nobody watches it, nobody* cares, and the only reason this thread exists is “because if Bush said it other blogs would do the same”.

*except the handicapped people themselves and their family who have a reason for a trip to some cool far away country. But they don’t count.

I look at the ‘special olympics’ as symbolism of human inner worth. When many, even in the U.S., would just abort the child, or they would abandon the child to the streets, there are those who see the inner worth of people and not just a, “Meh, if there isn’t anything in it for me… I don’t want anything to do with whatever the situation may be.” So I’m glad those who have the child and care for it, foster parents, adopted parents, or natural parents…don’t count in your eyes.

When President Obama is in a national forum and says something of this nature without even thinking… 1. He is either dumber than we all thought. 2. He is so intelligent he knows exactly what he says. or 3. He is so intelligent he knows exactly what he says as well as looks upon the handicapped as a ‘burden’. This is coming from the senator who voted 3 times on infanticide and is all for embryonic stemcells.

As long as it’s HIS life not affected… he is all for death.
