Okay, let’s be fair. I don’t think that Dubya, as bumbling and idiotic as his administration was, acted with malicious intent. Drumpf, on the other hand, appears to be actively trying to completely destroy the fragile goodwill Obama worked so hard to build after the Texas Chainsaw Diplomatic Massacre left office.

Dubya came into office with two convictions: He was right about everything, and that Bill’s people couldn’t be trusted. Which is why when they came to him with what they believed to be credible evidence that a major terrorist attack was imminent, he blew them off and had his cabal of cronies convince him that the evidence was of questionable reliability because it had come from work done during Bill’s presidency. Likewise when it came time to begin orchestrating the Iraq War, he had an office created specifically to feed him the intel that “justified” the war, but then proceeded to hang the intel failures on the CIA when it became obvious that he’d been fed a load of horseshit at his own orders.

Hanlon’s razor applies when talking about Dubya and Trump.
