It was a joke. I didn’t say it to them, I said it to a group of people not even remotely attached to this family or kid. Overreacting to a situation in which you have no control is unhealthy. I’ve already admitted I’m an asshole, I have a tendency to say things out loud that strike me as amusing. I apologized to Walter, I wasn’t seriously ragging on Denver. Let me say it again, I really, really love Denver. 2nd favorite city on the parts of the planet that I’ve visited.
