Yes. It is pretty damned awesome.

It is the only game I’ve seen balances both stealth and action well. It has just the right gritty creepy feel that you would expect from the darkest corners of the Batman franchise and the play is very good on all fronts.

The graphics are superb and there is a bit of a sandbox element, but not so much that you loose what to do and get bored by just f’ing around.

I don’t normally gush over games, but this is one of the best ones I’ve seen in a while.

BTW, so others can gauge my tastes in games… Some of my all time favs are:

KOTOR (best RPG ever iIMHO), Mass Effect (if you liked KOTOR you will like this too), Gears of War (awesome and more awesome really) Fallout series, The Wing Commander and Starlancer series, Freespace, Halo and Half life series (C’mon, he’s a physicist!).

For this gen of gaming I would give high marks to (if not already mentioned):

Dead Space
Prototype
GTA (yes it is wicked)
Oblivion and Fallout 3.

I rather liked Force Unleashed, but I thought it was too short and that the light saber play was not well enough developed.
