That couldn’t last forever, nor should we want it to, because a world in which other nations aren’t advancing is a world in which billions of people are descending deeper into misery. Plus, people here who are all paranoid about the rise of China should keep in mind that China’s neighbors are going to be much more concerned about its increasing military might than we are, and it will push nations like India, Korea, Vietnam and Japan closer to us to counter-balance China.
