First time I ever voted I voted for Jimmy Carter and all Republican for the local officials. Reason for voting for the Republicans was because the Democrats were, as I saw it, a bunch of corrupt crooks. This was of course in New Jersey. I was always proud that I did that. I was a serious Democrat of sorts at the time.

I don’t identify with parties, unless it involves pole dancing….makes it much easier…and honestly, I can’t help being amused with todays searing partisanship…especially here
