A fact not on the list is that Zimmerman’s the son of a retired judge with that were closed without charges, one a felony charge of assaulting a police officer that should have landed him behind bars.

I’m not sure if those cases were “mysteriously closed”. I was something about the assault on the police officer. Something about a bar fight, I think with an undercover cop. Charges were dropped. I think if you search around a bit you could find out.
