What happens if the Greek economy totally crashes out though? I expect in part you’d see a sudden influx of refugees into neighboring countries of people looking for work or at least a way to get some stability and basic resources.

One idea that’s being floated around is no more bailouts, kick Greece out of the EZ (not the EU, mind you), offer Greece humanitarian aid, and offer investment assistance.

Earlier today, it was reported that of the 19 EZ countries, 15 were ready to say “Adieu” to Greece. I personally don’t doubt that for one minute. Even though the Czech Republic isn’t part of the EZ, the general attitude among Czechs is “fuck ‘em.”

A German official admitted earlier today that admitting Greece into the Eurozone was “a mistake”. I think the Germans at least, along with the Baltic States, Slovakia certainly, and quite a few others are simply at the end of their patience with Greece. It’s a money pit, basically.
