In AZ they just start working an hour earlier in the summer, while construction workers start at 5am and knock off at 2pm

Commercial tenant improvement construction in Southern California (with a few exceptions) is 5 am to 2 pm year round. Mostly because of noise complaints

Among the exceptions is Santa Monica which doesn’t let construction start until like 9 am because housing and commercial properties aren’t distinctly zoned into different areas of the city
