To me Obama was impressive in two areas last night….the first is that he doesn’t take crap off of reporters. I am old enough to remember Jimmy Carter pressers which were free for alls with the reporters shouting out questions. I was extremely impressed with Reagan when he instituted decorum.

Second, on the question of metrics, Obama answered it clearly and didn’t duck. He said that creation of a half million jobs, increase in housing starts, etc should be the metrics. I can argue that these are the wrong metrics but at least he was specific on what we should hold him accountable for.
