And the Chinese aren’t even making a real protest, either. They’re calling for resumption of the six-party talks. China does not want an all-out war to break out. Now, the question is how can we work with China to ensure that the peace is kept?

“The situation on the Korean Peninsula is inching closer to the brink of war due to the reckless plan of those trigger-happy elements to stage again the war exercises targeted against the DPRK,” the official Korean Central News Agency said.
Trigger happy? Let’s see they killed 4 people this week and earlier this year 46 South Korean Navy sailor went down with the sinking of the Cheonan. They surely live in another reality and are almost a caricature of the old Soviet and Maoist regimes.
