Okay, I just learned something on wikipedia. I knew that Revere had been captured and never made it to Concord (he did make it to Lexington). I knew that someone had made it to Concord, but I thought it was the other man that started out with him, Dawes.

It was another man that they had run into who was, um, coming home at 1 am.

Revere lost his (borrowed) horse, but did manage to find Sam Adams and John Hancock to warn them, which was very important for the Revolutionary cause at that time.

Not sure where this fits in with Ms. Palin’s
