I’m honestly wondering what happens if Trump tries to say it was never presented to him? That’s obviously (yet) a(nother) constitutional crisis and basis for impeachment. I just wonder if it’ll be the proverbial straw that breaks the camel’s back?

Where I’ve worked we’d go with the timestamp in the system that sends it to the other party. They’ve constructively received it when we sent it and it was marked as received. This is so stupid, anyway: what’s he going to say, he knew nothing about it? If the dog ate it or it was in his other pants or someone must have left it out in the rain or whatever fucking bullshit, it’s law 10 days after date of receipt, unless they’re in recess.
