Hey turn— no, it was even worse. It was one of the GOP congressmen who was co-sponsering the bill. It took Matthews seven minutes to get the guy to admit that he personally believed Obama was a citizen.

Charles posted the video. It’s worth watching, believe me. Rep. Campbell squirms and squirms and visibly winces at the end when Chris Matthews says “Ok, folks in Campbell’s district— he believes Obama is a citizen”.

I hate Matthews but this was awesome.
