There was a lot of controversy when it was erected. It’s on private property and is owned by a rich attorney here. Over the years the flags have gotten worn down to just tatters. When the first drawings of it came out, it looked more like metal, and when it was unveiled nobody could believe how ugly it was. It’s truly awesome in terms of level of ugly.
