Really? I liked Django. I enjoyed Basterds more but I liked Django too. My favorite scene in Django is when Pitt and Eli Roth are pretending to be Italian and Pitt’s “buongiorno” has a clear Southern drawl to it. I’m seeing now that phrase is actually “Good morning” and as you recall the scene was in the evening, I wonder if that was deliberate on Quentin Tarantino’s part to show that the two men don’t know Italian.
