We have an attending physician with a really unfortunate name. So much so, that the first time I encountered him I thought he was pulling my leg. “No really, what’s your name?” In my previous life there was a guy whose name was virtually lifted from a PA stunt from the movie Porky’s. I used to cringe asking for him on the phone. After a few years somebody finally changed his name on the letterhead to Michael.
