All laudable outcomes against a group of very evil but not unique humans.

If that outcome is sufficient to justify attacking a recognized government of a sovereign nation, then better get cracking attacking Syria, North Korea, China, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and any other country lead by nasty people.

Find the political capital.

I’m all for it, but after Vietnam, we have to have “interests” to protect. We can’t expend American lives over things like the liberty or well being of others, we can only do it over oil and national security issues.
