The Democrats represent twenty-first century society in this country. They are going to run roughshod over the Republican Party next year. I don’t think a 50 state sweep in the electoral college is completely impossible (though it is unlikely). It depends on which kook panderer the Republicans allow their deranged base to nominate. This is what they get for giving complete control of the process to a small but devoted mob of ignorant bigots and radio demagogues out in the darker reaches of flyover country.
