Why should he resign? For doing shitty comedy as a comedian? He wasn’t elected at that time. It was stupid and childish and in very poor taste. It didn’t look like he actually touched her. I’m withholding judgment on the kiss thing because of Roger Stone (if that was true I’d be much angrier).

Admittedly, misconduct prior to election is fair game. It’s part of the character and integrity of the man. I’ll grant that it’s almost impossible to find someone in a country of 300 million that doesn’t have at least some skeletons in the closet, the question is one of degree. Franken’s could be worrisome, but on a scale of zero to Roy Moore, I don’t feel I’m in a position to judge if he should resign or not. I won’t feel outraged if he is compelled to resign, but neither will I be disgusted if he elects to stay and isn’t kicked out.
