I needed a genuine laugh after the past couple of weeks of dealing with several friends/family members having serious and life-threatening medical situations, and that was it.

Those situations aren’t any better, but they haven’t gotten worse either. It’s pretty much SNAFU and while hospital staff has been incredible, there are limits to what they can do when patient mental health issues can disrupt treatment options. It’s one of the reasons I’ve been increasingly sparse here and on my blog; I just don’t have time to post or comment as I usually have done over the years (and doubly so in election years).
