AFAIK there have also been 2 civilian deaths in Israel, one being due to shelling by Hamas and the other being due to some other cause (maybe heart attack). Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong on the numbers.

Everyone’s children are dying. Those soldiers had mothers too. I can’t look at them without thinking of my own son. Is an Israeli mother’s grief greater than a Palestinian mother’s, or vice versa? I think not. When will it end? How much more blood, how much more psychological damage, how many more lives will be lost before everyone stops & says, “OMG, what are we doing to each other? What are we doing to ourselves?”

What about the damage to economies & infrastructures? How many billions have been wasted on this fight so far? Billions that could have made the lives of both Israelis & Palestinians better?
