I have hated, hated, hated Noam Chomsky for over 50 years, when I started learning anything about linguistics, for his absolute destruction of the entire field. I was probably the last person on earth to earn that he had any political opinions, but even if I agreed with them it wouldn’t make any difference.

Goddamn! When am I going to stop hitting blockquote instead of italic? Or at least use preview?
