I don’t blame him. If you want to try to persuade people to support Bernie, more power to you but do not insult African-American voters when they make their decision. It’s not the black community’s fault that Bernie’s message hasn’t resonated with African-Americans the way Clinton’s has.

As far as I can tell, this isn’t just a battle of messages. Clinton has been there and done things for the Democratic party and African-Americans over a track record of many years in ways that Sanders simply has not.

It is difficult to run against that kind of record. It is exceedingly stupid for attempts to do so to be allowed to turn into looking down on the voters you are trying to persuade.
