The Republicans with any testicular fortitude need to step up NOW. They need to do it because it’s the right thing to do. And they also need to do it to show Jews around this country who really IS on the side of the angels in the middle east. And my own senator, Joe Lieberman, who used to be independent and willing to criticize his own party, needs to “re grow” a set and step up to the plate.

Agreed, but I haven’t heard any republicans making position statement about much of anything right now. The budget, this that or the other. Most of them are trying to figure out what happens next, while the shit is continuing to hit the fan.

There’s no conservative politician out there listening right now. Except the jerks with the dirty laundry.
