I’ve rarely met Mormons who weren’t friendly to outsiders, at least on the casual level of relationships.

I lived above a missionary apartment for close to 6 years. They were all different. In general very outgoing kids. Some were quiet. Other were loud. Some cursed and played pool. Others drank and watched TV under a blanket out on the patio deck.
