As for Braun, he should be sued for every penny by Laurenzi when Braun intimated that Laurenzi tampered with the sample when he took it home after missing the cutoff to get it shipped the day of the sample was taken.

He defamed Laurenzi’s character, and no simple apology has been forthcoming in the time since those claims were made.

Braun failed that drug test. Braun all but admits to PEDs via Biogenesis by not contesting the MLB suspension (and the Players Union has no problem either).

He’s got to do more than sit out the season IMO. He’s got to make restitution to Laurenzi. And the rest of baseball.

Oh, and the A Rod circus is up next. I can’t help but feel that the latest “injury” is an attempt to avoid Selig’s wrath and pending ban hammer, but A Rod too should be gone from baseball. Banned. And his records expunged from baseball.

Any other player who gets the ban hammer? Same treatment. Make it as though they never appeared in any game. Ever.

And while we’re at it, restore the home run records to Maris and Aaron. /but that’s just me.
