So therein is one answer. When people say no intervention in Syria they should keep in mind that there already is intervention in Syria.

That doesn’t mean we should make the same mistake. Assad is a brutal dictator who should die sooner rather than later, but so was Saddam, and look at what a mess we created intervening in Iraq.
