See, you need to stretch facts to fit with this CT. A sudden forward hand movement and the cop’s reaction are more compatible with a gun.
In order for it to be a cell phone he must have already been holding it in his hand, in fact it would take a few seconds to turn the camera on (so the cop would have seen it and wouldn’t have reacted in this way).

Not much of a stretch. Martin had a cell phone. It is entirely plausible that he turned on video and aimed it at the officer. Watching the incident unfold, that seems very plausible.

It’s also very possible he pulled out a handgun and aimed it at the cop. Doesn’t make sense, but hey, it’s possible. It’s also possible he didn’t, and a gun was planted.
