Perot’s entire campaign focused on national debt; no racism or sexism or social issues. Unlike Trump, he was a self-made legitimate billionaire. Unlike Schultz, his money came from technology — the industry of the future. He was crazy but brilliant.

Perot had also had some policy success. He was a major player at getting no-pass-no-play and standardized testing (TABS when I was a kid) here in Texas public schools.
