Yes. As the law is NOW written, it falls under the authority of the Commerce Department. If Congress wants to remove it from Commerce, they would have to pass a new law and assign responsibility for the Census somewhere else. They have NOT done that. What the Obama WH tried to do was/and is not legal.

Got it. So, since the Dems are in control, they WILL pass a law giving someone else the census.
