Over the counter Benadryl works very well on dogs. When Penny’s mast cell cancer started causing her to itch and flake a lot the vet prescribed benadryl as part of her palliative care. She was about 45lbs and was prescribed 2 X 25 mg, twice a day.

Thanks, It has been so long since she has been this bad I forgot about the Benadryl.
Off to medicate the dog and maybe wipe her down with vinegar.
