That having been said, the actions of the Viet Cong in Hue were every bit as bad as the deeds of the SS Einsatzgruppen. They murdered entire families, shooting them into mass graves. The only diffence is that they murdered “class enemies” instead of Jews. So the Nazi comparison is not without merit.
