On another note, I can’t wait for Ted Cruz, the US Senator from Texas, to demand immediate federal assistance and relief, without any preconditions, offsets, or other acts, to compensate Texans for the damaged done due to these storms, which is in direct contrast to how he and other GOPers have denied, delayed, and pushed for offsets to aid to Northeastern states after Sandy (or Zadroga aid, etc).

Apparently, my dad is staying home and working from there; that means it must be pretty bad…
