The fact that she’s a Republican, and was last at a Tea Party event, makes this different, as well. Anyone who thinks its contrived has to deal with it in terms of GOP infighting. She’s not filing a suit.

And that’s going to be the hardest bit to get past, that there’s no suit being filed, no charges being filed, nothing done other than coming forward to tell her story. If she had wanted to profit off this, she could have sold her story to the press, so if the Right wants to accuse her of seeking financial gain of any sort, they’re gonna have a hard time proving it.
