Trump and the rest of the Know-nothing right wing desire a raging pandemic that will specifically target the “parasites” of society- the oldest, the sickest, minorities, Immigrants, etc. Most Trumpsters believe themselves naturally above these perceived derelicts of society and will emerge even stronger than before. …or so goes the theory.

In actual reality, many of these reactionary narcissists will fall victim to their own paranoia and darwinism. And the “herd immunity” theory, currently the darling of the right wing, has not been proven effective for this virus nor has any easy vaccine emerged like magic. And a significant percentage refuse to even do one simple thing like wear protective masks. Opening schools is not about education. It is designed and planned murder of specific peoples- it is simple genocide.
