I agree with you that what he was doing was improper for his marriage/family.

What I am saying is that it is just another case of a spouse trying to play outside of the bounds of what his wife (and most people) think of as proper.

Yet it is not a thing that on a political stage is of importance to policy in this nation.

It just isn’t.

There are 535 people who sit in Congress and pass laws. Many of them have undoubtedly been unfaithful in one manner or another. Semi-erotic electronically remote flirting I do not find as something to bring to the attention of anyone other than the spouse.

He couldn’t have possibly just been emailing these photos without some phone or internet sex chat.

I don’t think I’m a prude to think that goes far beyond flirting. Flirting is when you smile “seductively” or catch a glance with a woman at the supermarket or maybe some friendly banter and that’s pretty much normal.

It may not have anything to do with his ability to lead or know his job, but people don’t like lying of any sort.
