Correct me if I’m wrong, but Hobby Lobby and other companies aren’t being forced to pay for anyone’s birth control. Same for individual taxpayers, we’re not being forced to pay for others’ BC.

Rather the insurance companies will simply provide BC at very low generic prices for all patients. Then the insurers will “eat” the cost because that approach is more cost-effective long term for them anyway.

It may seem like a fine distinction. But it’s not really. Hobby Lobby isn’t paying extra. What they object to is any of their employees even having insurance that covers BC. And what they want is to be able to provide coverage that specifically excludes any coverage of birth control/family planning, regardless of who pays for it.
