She Who Must Be Obeyed is rehearsing tonight up in Georgetown, at Southwestern University, with a modern dance troupe (Sophianetta) for a piece by by Robert Patterson (Garden of the Goddesses). Nine short tone poems in various ethnic music styles (for the various Goddesses) using flute, harp, and percussion. The musicians will be included in the dance blocking. Neat concept, with performances already scheduled in Georgetown, Austin, and Houston starting in January.

So I’m baching it tonight. It’s still oppressively hot outside. Odd that one of the things about climate change is that it just doesn’t cool down at night as much as it used to. Humidity increases before temperatures drop and holds the heat in. We just might hit a low of 78 tomorrow morning before spanking up to 102 tomorrow PM. It’s still 92 out there right now, and it’s almost 10 pm here. Ick.

He was at BlackHat Tuesday through yesterday and so I cleaned a TON as a nice surprise. But things have apparently blown up at work and so his leaving at a reasonable hour got sidetracked, after a week of pretty much being on my own with the exception of Monday’s birthday.
