Yeah, the anti-Arab bigotry can be really bad. I remember one guy from Isfahan taught me this little bit of rhyming Farsi snark:

Arab-e biyabaan malakh mikhorad,
Sag-e Isfahan aab-e yakh mikhorad.

The Arab of the desert eats locusts,
The dog of Isfahan drinks ice water.

The guy that told it to me thought it was too funny.
