I am in one of the few ridings that remained Liberal. My riding is one that also experienced some real shady stuff. We rec’d autodialed calls purporting to be from Elections Canada telling us our polling station was being changed due to anticipated high demand. Changed to one that is 6km from the one down the block. Even referred to points in town by their common name and was in both official languages.

Needless to say this was totally fraudulent and reported to the authorities.

My first taste of voter suppression and made me disappointed in my country’s politics, angry and yet - not too shocked.

That happened in the riding right next to mine!
