Six rapid shots fired as Michael ran and then turned because he couldn’t outrun a bullet. Explain that?

None of the bullets that struck him were in the back. And based on the gunshot sounds in the background tape the shots occurred in two rapid fire bursts, 3 seconds apart. It is not credible that in that 3 second time period Michael stops running, turns around and then his head drops to the point where the bullet strikes him in the top of the head.
