I don’t know. His taking the night off without a statement might be part of a shift.

Think of his like the corned beef brisket experiment I just ran. It was underdone the first time because reasons that we don’t need to get into, so I chopped and screwed it into a half-assed loose assemblage and threw it back in under high pressure. The timer is now run out but I’m waiting for the pressure to drop instead of releasing it all at once.

Bernie might just be waiting for his supporters to absorb the moment and cool down. At least that’s what I hope is going on because everything is fucked.
